Two weeks in and my beans still smell like the day I opened the bag — that airtight seal plus the compressor really does keep the air out. I also like that it blocks light, since my old jar sat right on the counter by the window.

I was skeptical about the internal compressor, but three weeks in and my beans still smell like they were roasted yesterday. The airtight seal really does keep the light and air out.

The airtight seal on this thing actually works — my beans still smell bright and oily two weeks after opening the bag, which never happened with my old clip-top jar. The internal compressor pushing the air out is a nice touch too, no more stale morning shots.
